Wall collapse kills mother, son in Natore
A woman and her son were killed when a mud-wall collapsed on them at Merigaccha village in Boraigram upazila on Monday night.
Local sources said the earthen wall of Nur Mohammad's house suddenly collapsed, leaving his wife Razia Begum, 48, dead on the spot and injuring son Habibur Rahman, 30, at about10:00 pm.
Habibur died on way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
Locals said the mud-wall, which developed a crack a few days ago, fell on the mother and her son when they were in deep sleep in their house.
