Three Barguna Jamaat leaders arrested
Three local leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami were arrested from Charduani Dakhil Madrasa in Patharghata upazila
yesterday.
The arrestees were identified as Abu Jafar Mohammad Saleh, Ameer of district unit Jamaat, Patharghata upazila Ameer Abdul Kader and secretary Shamim Ahsan.
OC of Patharghata PS said, the Jamaat leaders were arrested from South Taluk at 11:00am on the basis of secret information that they were preparing to commit subversive activities.
