Tiger kills 1 in Sundarbans
A fisherman was killed by a tiger in the Sundarbans yesterday morning.
Victim Hemayet Sheikh, 32, was a resident of Dhangmary village in Dakope upazila of neighbouring Khulna district.
Hemayet was attacked by the tiger while he and his brother were catching fish at a canal in Ghaghramari camp of Dhangmary station at around 10:00am, Mihir Kumar De, divisional forest officer of the eastern range of Sundarbans said.
