Madrasa teacher abducted
A madrasa teacher was abducted on Sunday evening from Mohadebpur village of Ishwardi upazila.
Victim Hafez Ashraful Islam, 30, is a teacher of Mohadebpur Madrasa in the upazila.
Police and locals said, Ashraful was going to another mosque from Mohadebpur Madrasa on Sunday evening. When he reached Kathaltola area of Pabna-Pakshey road, a gang came on a microbus and abducted him from the spot.
Victim's brother Rabiul Islam filed a case with Ishwardi police station yesterday morning.
Contacted, OC of Ishwardi PS said, a gang of 8 to 9 abducted Asraf and took him an unknown place.
