Boy drowns in Khulna

A boy drowned in a shrimp enclosure at Shibbati village in Paikgachha upazila on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Monirul Islam, 4, son of Abdul Majid Sarkar of the village. Neighbours said Monirul was playing near the shrimp enclosure in the morning. Suddenly, he fell in the water and drowned. Later, local people recovered the floating body of Monirul from the enclosure.
