Robbers loot gold, cash from 2 Bogra houses
Robbers looted gold ornaments, cash and other valuables from two houses in Adamdighi upazila headquarters early Friday.
Police quoting locals said, breaking open the collapsible gate, a gang of armed robbers numbering 6/7 entered the house of Ariful Islam at around 2:30am and took the members of the house hostage at gunpoint.
The robbers looted gold ornaments, cash Tk 10,000, mobile phone set and other valuables worth about Tk 50,000 from the house.
Later, the gang entered the adjacent house of Anwar Hossain and looted seven tolas of gold ornaments, cash and other valuables worth Tk 3 lakh keeping the house members hostage at gunpoint.
