2 boys drown in pond
Two boys drowned in a pond of Kazitula area in the city on Tuesday.
One of the victims, Jashim, 11, was son of Abdun Nur while the other one, Sabuj, 12, was son of Tera Miah of Badambagicha area in the city. The two were close friends, locals said.
After a frantic search, locals and police found the floating bodies from Kazidhighi on Wednesday morning.
