Snake poison seized
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel arrested two smugglers along with snake poison worth about Tk 1 crore at Aramdanga village in Damurhuda upazila on Monday noon. The arrestees are Munsar, 55, son of Gulzar Hossain of Routanagdhapara of Faridpur upazila of Pabna district and Nur Alam, 43, of Thakurpur village of Sadar upazila of the district. Being tipped off that a gang of smugglers were staying in the house of one M Goni of the village a team of Rab-6 conducted a drive there and arrested the two smugglers. Searching their bodies the law enforcers recovered six bottles of snake poison.
