Outlaw held in Chuadanga

Police on Wednesday arrested a top outlaw in Chuadanga and recovered a cocktail and bomb making materials from the house of a Pabna outlaw. Police arrested a 'regional leader' of outlawed Purba Banglar Communist Party (Lal Potaka) from the district town Wednesday evening, reports UNB. The arrestee was identified Asadul, 28, son of Daud Mandol of Mochainagar village in Alamdanga upazila. Police on the same night handed over him to the Alamdanga police station. Later, following his confessional statement police recovered one shutter gun from his house. In Pabna, police recovered a cocktail and bomb making materials from the house of an outlaw at Chandai village under Atrghoria upazila on Wednesday night. The outlaws however managed to flee the scene. Acting on a tip-off, police raided the 'den' at Hazrat Ali's residence at the village when the outlaws were holding a secret meeting.
