BCL disrupts classes at Azizul Haq College

Staff Correspondent, Bogra
No classes were held at Bogra Azizul Haq College yesterday as leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) held a rally on the campus using loudspeakers, a day after they forced the authorities to stop admission process demanding their 'quota'. AKM Salamat Ullah, principal of the college told this correspondent that classes were suspended at 9:00 in the morning as the BCL boys continued agitation demanding his removal and cancellation of the on-going admission of students to higher secondary classes. The staff council of the college, however, held a meeting yesterday and decided to take legal steps against the trouble-makers and file a general diary with the police station. At the rally, chaired by BCL's college unit convener Mahmudun Nabi Russell, the pro-government student body demanded removal of the principal and cancellation of the admission of students by the college on Wednesday.
