Illegal structures demolished
The railway authorities on Tuesday demolished over 200 illegal structures set up on its land. Narayanganj rail station master Abdul Aziz said the structures, illegal erected on either sides of the rail lines from Rail Gate No. 1 to Gate No. 2 were razed to ground. He said Additional Estate Officer, Dhaka Division Railway, M Mojibur Rahman, divisional officer Abdur Rahim Molla, security officer Solaiman and other officials were present. In addition to railway's security personnel, 35 labourers took part in the demolition drive. The drive will continue till June 24, sources said.
