BSF kills Bangladeshi
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) yesterday shot dead a Bangladeshi cattle trader on Telipara border under Tentulia upazila. Victim Farid Hossain,28, was son of Dabir Uddin of Sharialjoth village under Tentulia upazila. BDR and locals said, BSF members at Hafthiagoach camp opened fire on a group of cattle traders near pillar no 443 on Telipara border while they were returning home with cattle. Farid died on the spot but his fellows managed to escape unhurt. BSF personnel took away the body immediately after the incident. BDR strongly protested the unprovoked killing and asked its Indian counterpart to return the body.
