20 shops gutted in Baufal
At least 20 shops were gutted in a fire at Bridge Bazar under Baufal uapzila early yesterday. Fire fighters and police said the fire originated from a shop of one Adhu Saha at around 3:00am and soon engulfed 19 other shops at the market. Locals with the help of fire fighters extinguished the blaze at around 6:00am. Locals also assaulted the fire fighters for making delay in arriving at the spot.
