Pirated porno CDs seized
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) seized 10,000 pirated and porno CDs (compact disks) from 10 shops at Taltala in the city on Saturday. The elite force also arrested three people for their involvement with trading of the pornographic materials. The arrestees are M Moinuddin Milon of Milon CD Centre, Rabiul Alam of Rima CD Centre and Monowar Hossain of Mahin Electronics. Acting on secret information, a team of Rab-9, led by Major M Yousuf Khan, raided the video shops - Milon CD Centre, Mahin Electronics, Rima CD Centre, Music Plus, Oyon CD Centre, Sumi CD Centre, Priti CD Centre, Balaka Audio Complex, Sumi CD World and Sangita CD Complex and seized the pirated and porno CDs. A case was filed in this connection.
