BCL men in Natore beat up two hotel boys
Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists ransacked a hotel and beat up two employees on Wednesday for being late in serving snacks.
Witnesses said, over 100 BCL activists came to Islamia Hotel in the town's Chakrampur area at about 5:30 pm after attending its biennial council and ordered for snacks.
They became angry as the hotel boys could not serve the snacks immediately after the order.
They picked up a quarrel with the hotel manager and at a stage vandalised the hotel and assaulted its two workers - Osman and Shahidul.
Shariful Islam Pachu, owner of the hotel, alleged that the BCL activists also took away Tk 30,000 from the cash box.
