Top criminal arrested
Police arrested Ayub Ali, 30, the chief of the local infamous criminal gang-Ayub Bahini, from Amin Bazar area of Begumganj upazila in the district on Friday.
Officer-in-charge of Begumganj police station Mostafizur Rahman said, on a secret information, he went to the spot and caught Ayub Ali red-handed.
Ayub is an accused in 11 cases including those of arms and robbery.
