Five bombs recovered
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members yesterday recovered five bombs from Bishoykhali village in Sadar upazila.
Acting on a tip-off, Rab-7 members raided the spot near the Begabati River at about 12:30 pm and recovered the bombs in an abandoned condition.
The bombs were kept in a polythene bag, Rab sources said.
The elite force suspected that criminals might have kept the bombs there for carrying out subversive activities later at a convenient time.
