HP awards top resellers
Leading IT-equipment manufacturer Hewlett Packard (HP) recently announced Top Achievers Awards 2007 for outstanding performance of resellers of HP Imaging and Printing Group (IPG). Nine resellers were hand-picked for the awards for different categories.
Paul Anthony, general manager (AEC and Singapore), Shabbir Shafiullah, country business development manager (Bangladesh) and Albert Seah, market development manager (AEC) of Imaging and Printing Group handed over crests to the awardees.
Sarwar Hossain of Flora Ltd received the prestigious 'HP Champion of the Year Award', Techvalley Computers received 'Best Customer Support Award' and Advance Computer Technology received 'Most Loyal Corporate Reseller Award'. HP also awarded SCH Rebates to 10 of their original cartridge resellers for their significant performance. The award value ranges from Tk 15,000 to Tk 2,50,000.
HP is the largest IT-equipment manufacturer in the world with more than US$100.5 billion in revenue for the four fiscal quarters ended July 31, 2007. The company is ranked as number one in mono and color laser printers, scanners, large format printers, print servers and ink and laser supplies. HP has supplied over 525 million printers worldwide; among them over 100 million are LaserJet printers.
