Ekushey Boi Mela sees rush of booklovers on last day

Booklovers swarmed Ekushey Book Fair as the monthlong event ends today.

Crowd was also heavy as schools, colleges and universities are closed today.

Hundreds of readers were seen going stall to stall looking for specific books and browsing publications they found interesting.

The book fair witnessed presence of a large number of young readers as colourful bookstalls at the children's corner marked National Children's Day today.

The book fair began on February 15, which was scheduled to end on February 28.

Later, the duration of the fair was extended until March 17.
