Is water going to be a scarce resource?

At least two-thirds of the global population, over 4 billion people live with severe water scarcity in a month around every year, according to a major new analysis published in the journal 'Science Advances'. Water shortage is one of the most dangerous challenges the world faces and the situation is getting worse. So caps on water use should be put in place for all river basins, companies should be transparent about how much water is needed to make their products and investors should incorporate water sustainability into their decision-making.
