Letters To The Editor

The inspiration that shaped my future

I remember taking an award from TDS editor a decade ago at The Daily Star awards giving ceremony of O and A-levels exams where he spoke about brain drain from the country.

It had a profound impact on me. The inspirational words of that day still resonate in my mind and it literally shaped my life in the coming years.

I have graduated from Edinburgh Business School, done my post grad from University of Cambridge and then completed CPA to become a chartered accountant in UK. But I returned home, leaving behind lucrative employment opportunities and decided to become an entrepreneur. By the grace of the Almighty, I have done well. I think I owe TDS editor a lot for that inspirational speech.
