Sacrifices of our people should not go in vain

After nearly half a century of our independence, we still have to fear for our lives. False logic is being used to justify the acts of cruelty, vengeance and violation of human rights. Opposition politics that people bank on for release of grievances is being systematically decimated. The sacrifices of millions of people in our Liberation War should not go in vain. We should take a fresh vow to restore democracy and freedom of speech in the country.
