Remembering Mahbubul Alam

I fully endorse the view expressed by Sir Frank Peters in his letter published in your esteemed daily on June 11, 2015 about Mr. Mahbubul Alam, the former Editor of The Independent. Being a police officer it was very difficult for me to come close to the editor of a national daily. Nobody introduced me to him but we became close and exchanged ideas and opinions on various issues. He was a perfect gentleman and found a place in my heart too. I pray to the Almighty for him.
