It seems that Sheikh Hasina is trying to perpetuate her tenure. The administration has been politicised along with every sector. However, history tells us that no one can remain in power forever. There might be some solutions and civil society should lead both the leaders towards a peaceful path. Hope they will be wise enough to accept the solution.

Critical views should have been valued but not the emotional ones. He rightly apologized for his emotional expressions and the party should be generous enough to invite such critical views from others too.

It seems that the country is approaching to a point of no return. It is high time the ruling party and BNP took practical steps to reduce political tensions.
