Child labour in DU cafeteria
The highest educational institution in Bangladesh, the Oxford of the East, Dhaka University stands upright for its academic
excellence. It has greatly contributed to our educational field as well as our political, socio-economic and cultural sectors. Members of its faculty are considered to be some of the most meritorious, intellectual figures in the country. Having said that, almost in all cafeterias and shops in DU, children are found to be employed for labour. Aren't authorities in the public university concerned about this issue, especially since they always talk about the dangers of child labour elsewhere in Bangladesh and other countries in the world?
