It's time our cricketers delivered

This is in response to the letter of Aminur Rahim published in your esteemed daily dated 4th October regarding the game plan of Bangladesh cricket team for the upcoming series. I do appreciate his valuable suggestions. It is true that our paper tigers played the entire year without any particular game plan. During the recent Test series against the West Indies, we heard our skipper saying that he would be happy if we (Bangladesh) could manage a draw. Why aim for a draw when the entire nation is desperately hoping for a win? Why don't they have the drive to play attacking from the beginning?
For a country like ours, the cricket players are really well paid and very well taken care of. It's high time they gave something back to the nation instead of just showing their faces on the TV commercials and billboards all over the country.
