Covid-19 in Mymensingh: Highest number of deaths recorded at MMCH in 24 hours

Seventeen people died at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital's (MMCH) Covid unit in 24 hours till this morning. This is the highest number of deaths recorded in 24 hours at MMCH so far.

Of the deceased, five were Covid-19 positive while the rest had symptoms, reports our Mymensingh correspondent quoting the unit's focal person Dr Mohiuddin Khan.

Five of the deceased who died of coronavirus were from Mymensingh, two were from Sherpur and one from Netrakona.

In the 24 hours, 55 patients were admitted to MMCH's Covid unit while 29 left hospital after recovery, hospital sources said.

With them, total 371 were undergoing treatment at the hospital.
