Mass vaccination campaign again after securing enough doses: Health Minister

Due to the shortage of Covid-19 vaccine doses, the government has not been able to continue the nationwide mass vaccination programme, Health Minister Zahid Maleque said today.

"We have vaccinated 34 lakh people in a day during the [special] mass inoculation. We will run such campaign again after we get enough jabs," the minister said.

He was talking to journalists after attending a discussion on National Mourning Day at Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS).
