Health directorate asks to increase booths at Covid-19 vaccination centres

Health directorate has instructed all its officials concerned to increase the number of booths in Covid-19 vaccination centres across the country so that everyone gets the jabs as early as possible.

"We have instructed to increase the number of booths in the existing vaccination centres and set up sub-centres, if needed," Prof Meerjady Sabrina Flora, additional director general of the Directorate of Health Services (DGHS), told journalists following a visit to the neuroscience institute today.

She said those who have been waiting for the confirmation SMS for vaccines will get soon. "Everyone has to wait more or less to get vaccines. We hope the situation will change soon," she said.
