9 die in Kushtia with Covid-19, symptoms in 24 hours

Nine people -- eight Covid positive and one with symptoms -- died in Kushtia during 24 hours till 8am today.

A total of 219 samples were tested in the district during this time, of which 75 were positive, said Dr Abdul Momen, deputy director of Kushtia General Hospital.

Current positivity rate stands at 34.24 percent.

Two hundred and sixty-seven patients with Covid-19 or symptoms were being treated at different hospitals in the district till this morning.
