23 die of Covid-19, symptoms in Barishal division in a day

Eight people died of Covid-19 and 15 with Covid-like symptoms in Barishal division in 24 hours (till 8 am today).

During this period, 723 people got tested, and 195 were found positive for the virus. The current positivity rate in the division stands at 26.97 percent, according to Divisional Health Office, reports our correspondent.

A total of 536 patients have died of Covid-19 in the division so far. Some 37,817 active patients have been identified in the division till now and 20,618 of them have recovered.
