14 die with Covid-19, symptoms in a day at 3 hospitals in Bogura

Seven people died of Covid-19 and seven with Covid-like symptoms at the Covid-19 units of three Bogura hospitals in 24 hours (till 8 am) today.

During this period, 840 samples were tested, and 242 were found positive for the virus. The current positivity rate stands at 28.80 percent, our correspondent reports, quoting deputy civil surgeon Mostafizur Rahman Tuhin.

In Bogura, at least 212 people have recovered during this period. There are 530 people currently admitted at three hospitals, with an overall caseload of 1,951 Covid-19 positive patients in the district, Mostafizur Rahman added.
