Grameenphone reimburses dropped calls

As a treat to all its customers on Eid al-Adha, Grameenphone today announced it will give 60 seconds reimbursement for dropped voice calls within its network, starting from October 1st. The offer is part of the run-up to celebrating 5 crore GP customers in Bangladesh.
On September 15, Grameenphone launched Free Facebook Browsing to all its customers. As the mile-stone of 5 crore customer approaches, Grameenphone today announced another treat to all its customers, building on the strengths of its nationwide mobile network.
 “Grameenphone is approaching the significant mile stone of 5 crore customers. We want everyone to be able to rely on our superior network quality, hence we offer all our customers who experiences a dropped phone call within our network 60 seconds reimbursement for that call. This is a token of appreciation to all our customers in the spirit of Eid al-Adha, and also a small teaser for more celebrations to come,” said Allan Bonke, CMO, Grameenphone.
The offer, which is valid from October 1st, applies to all dropped calls within Grameenphone’s network. 60 seconds will be reimbursed (maximum reimbursement 300 seconds/day). All customers will be eligible for the offer and no registration or opt-in will be required. Grameenphone will notify through SMS when the reimbursement is made. Postpaid customers will receive the reimbursement in their monthly bills.
