Sued over ex-Major Sinha’s death: Citing illness, OC of Teknaf Police Station leaves work

Citing illness, Officer-in-Charge of Teknaf Police Station Pradip Kumar Das left work early yesterday (Tuesday) after filing a general diary, ABM Masud Hossain, superintendent of police of Cox's Bazar, told The Daily Star.

The inspector (investigation) will take on the duties of OC Pradip, who is among the nine sued over the death of Maj (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan.

A high official of Cox's Bazar district police, however, told this newspaper that action is underway against the OC and he would be withdrawn from the post soon.
