Heavy rains flooded hundreds of homes, knocked out power and collapsed structures including a wall that crushed 12 people in northern India, officials said Friday. 

More than 8,000 fish enclosures in Bagerhat have been washed away by tidal surges triggered by the depression over the Bay of Bengal, said the district fisheries department today (September 14, 2022).
