Pantho Kanai will be seen with Shakib Khan in ‘Rockstar’

Renowned Bangladeshi musician Pantho Kanai is set to appear alongside leading actor Shakib Khan for the first time.

The collaboration will take place in the upcoming film “Rockstar”, marking Pantho Kanai’s latest venture into acting. Although he has confirmed his involvement, the singer declined to comment further on the project.

He previously appeared in "Fatima", directed by Dhrubo Hasan, starring Tasnia Farin.

‘Rockstar’ Shakib Khan goes viral with new look

Directed by Azman Rusho, “Rockstar” has already begun filming in Malaysia. The film stars Sabila Nur and Tangia Zaman Methila opposite Shakib Khan. Veteran actors Tariq Anam Khan and Rosey Siddique will portray his on-screen parents.

The film is slated for release during Eid-ul-Azha.

Meanwhile, the first look of “Rockstar" was unveiled yesterday, on Shakib Khan’s birthday, presenting the actor in a striking new avatar. In the poster, he is seen sitting casually on a road wearing black sunglasses, a relaxed outfit and trainers, with tattoos covering his body and the film’s title displayed in the background.
