Music director and singer Jahid Nirob has tied the knot. He is now married to Suchona Tasnim, a long-time friend and confidante.

Pop superstar Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have officially gone public with their relationship. The pair were spotted in Paris on October 25, celebrating Perry’s 41st birthday with a night out at the iconic Crazy Horse cabaret.

Actor-singer Nusraat Faria is gearing up to make a musical comeback with a set of new releases. Known for balancing her acting career with music, Faria first debuted as a singer in 2018 with “Pataka”. Since then, she has released four tracks and recorded another song with renowned music producer Fuad Almuqtadir early last year. However, the song is yet to be released — something she recently addressed during a public event, where she also shared insights about her new musical plans.

Speaking about her diagnosis, she said, “I had breast cancer. In European countries, we see that around three to four per cent of women develop this disease. No one in my family had cancer, so I don’t know what it means for the next generation. For those living abroad, routine tests are done every three or four years — I think that should be introduced in our country as well. It would be a great step forward. But there’s no need to fear cancer. People are making comebacks even from stage three or four, and living happy, fulfilled lives — just like me.”

The first song from the upcoming film “Delupi” has been released. The humorous, rap-infused, and playful track, titled “Godhuli Logne”, adds a refreshing and vibrant tone to the movie.

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has officially made her solo debut on the Billboard Hot 100, entering the chart at No 72 with her new single “Eyes Closed”, a collaboration with British singer Zayn Malik. The track, released on October 10, marks Jisoo’s first appearance on the chart as a solo artist.

Popular Indian singer-songwriter Nachiketa Chakraborty, known for his unique storytelling and soulful lyrics, has released a new song titled “Dakhina Batash.” The track explores the colours of life and relationships, combining the essence of classic Nachiketa with a refreshing new sound.

An Ayub Bachchu Museum and Cultural Hub is set to be established in Dhaka’s Moghbazar area at the initiative of the Ayub Bachchu Foundation.

As I was about to enter AB Kitchen, I was worried how the man would receive me after four long years of barely any contact. In 2014, I was a naïve teenager, who felt lucky to be included in a musical project with the great Ayub Bachchu – fascinated every time that my name would come out of his mouth.

Through a variety of programmes, the Cumilla district administration commemorated the 135th death anniversary of Fakir Lalon Shah, celebrating his timeless spiritual philosophy and humanist ideals through cultural performances and discussions.

Performers from local music schools and cultural groups took turns on stage, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of Lalon’s akhda. The auditorium resonated with songs such as “Manush Bhajle Sonar Manush Hobi”, drawing rounds of applause from the audience.
