DSCC faces obstruction during eviction drive at Gulistan market

The officials of Dhaka South City Corporation faced obstruction when they went to evict illegal parts of Fulbaria Supermarket-2 in Dhaka's Gulistan area today.

A team of DSCC and police went to demolish 911 shops of Fulbaria Supermarket-2 that built illegally at its Block A, B and C (City Plaza, Zaker Plaza and Zaker Plaza) around 11:30am.

When they were going to start the demolition, they were resisted by the shopkeepers, our correspondent reports from the spot.

They also pelted brick chips from inside the market, targeting the DSCC team.

Later, the DSCC team managed to bring the situation under control and started the demolition around 1:40pm.
