Adam Sandler’s long-awaited sequel “Happy Gilmore 2” has taken the top spot on Netflix’s list of most-watched English-language films, registering 46.7 million views in just three days. Released on July 25, the film’s debut marks the biggest opening weekend ever for a Netflix film in the United States, and the most successful launch for any of Sandler’s original films on the platform.

The film will start streaming from August 7. Notably, Chorki has also announced that, alongside “Utshob”, the Shakib Khan-starrer film “Taandob” will be released on the same date.
