Nachiketa Chakraborty, Joy Shahriar to share the stage in London

Legendary Indian singer-songwriter Nachiketa Chakraborty and Bangladeshi singer-songwriter Joy Shahriar are set to perform together in London on August 23, as part of “Mega Concert 2026” organised by ION TV.

The concert will take place at the Royal Regency in London, with gates opening at 3:00pm. Tickets are already available online in three categories, priced at £20, £40 and £100. Bangladeshi entertainment company Aajob Karkhana is overseeing artiste management for the event.

Speaking about the concert, Joy Shahriar said it would mark his first performance in London.

“I have shared the stage with Nachida before. This concert continues the journey that began with our joint show in Dhaka. I hope we will be able to take our music to audiences in many more cities around the world. I believe music lovers in London are in for a memorable evening,” he said.

Nachiketa Chakraborty also expressed his enthusiasm for the concert.

“Joy is very dear to me. We have worked together in recordings as well as on stage. I hope our songs will touch the hearts of the audience in London as well,” he said.

The two artistes previously collaborated on the duet album “Tathagata”, released in 2024. The album features seven songs, composed by Joy Shahriar and performed by both singers.
