Star Digital Report

Rapid Action Battalion claimed to have arrested Rafiqul Islam Madani, widely known as "Shishu Bokta", from Netrakona district today on charge of "anti-state" speech.

A team of Rab arrested him due to his "anti-state" speech and inciting chaos, said Commander Khandaker Al Moin, Rab's Legal and Media wing director.

Earlier on March 25, police detained Rafiqul from Motijheel area during a demonstration, protesting visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of golden jubilee of the independence.

He was, however, later released.
