Rab detain 2 Rohingyas with 10 firearms in Cox’s Bazar

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) today detained two Rohingyas along with 10 homemade guns from Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar.

The detainees -- Syed Hossain (55) and Bodi Alam (20) of Hilna Mochoni refugee camp -- are active members of Rohingya robber gang Joki group, said Major Mehedi Hasan, deputy commanding officer of Rab-15.

Major Mehedi said a Rab team launched a drive in Damdamia Bridge area around 9:00pm and arrested the two Rohingya men with the firearms after getting information that some firearms were being taken to the Joki group.
