PCJSS leader shot dead in Rangamati

A leader of Parbatya Chattogram Jana Samhati Samiti (MN Larma) was shot dead, allegedly by a co-worker, in Baghaichhari upazila of Rangamati early today.

The deceased -- Biswa Chakma alias Juddho (35) -- was a commander of PCJSS, our Rangamati correspondent reports quoting police. 

According to police and locals, some activists of PCJSS (MN Larma) were sleeping at the party office in Babupara area around 2:00am, when an activist -- Sujon Chakma -- showed up and opened fire, leaving Biswa dead on the spot.

Officer-in-Charge of Baghaichhari Police Station Md Anwar Hossain Khan said they will send the body to a Khagrachhari hospital for autopsy. No cases were filed so far, he said in the morning.
