Man arrested in connection with rape of 12-year-old in Satkhira

A 20-year-old was arrested last night in connection with the rape of a 12-year-old in Satkhira Sadar.

Ekramul Hossain (20) was arrested last night after the victim's family filed a rape case against him, a correspondent from Satkhira reports.

A local court today sent him to jail in connection with the case, said Asaduzzaman, officer-in-charge of Satkhira Sadar Police Station.
