Factory GM arrested in connection with rape of worker in Gazipur

Police today arrested an employee of a shoe factory for allegedly raping a female worker in Kacharipara area of Gazipur.

Mamun Al Rashid, officer-in-charge of Joydebpur Police Station, said the accused raped the victim several times on promises of promotion.

The victim later filed a case with Joydebpur Police Station in this regard.
