Youth stabs stepmother, brother

A youth allegedly stabbed his stepmother and brother over a family feud at Boleyapara village in Sadar upazila of Panchagarh district yesterday. The injured are Sufia Khatun, 51, second wife of late Nazrul Islam Prodhan, and their son Abu Sayed Prodhan, 33.They were admitted to Panchagarh Sadar Hospital. Police said Masud Rana, 26, picked up quarrel with his stepmother and brother over distribution of property. At one stage, he stabbed the two and left the scene.
