Youth jailed for assaulting girl

A mobile court here yesterday sentenced a sales representative of a pharmaceutical company to one year's imprisonment for assaulting a girl in Banghjal area of the town. The convict is Golam Kabir, a sales representative of Incepta Pharmaceuticals in Natore. Police said locals caught Kabir as he assaulted the Class IX student in the area and handed him over to police. Later the accused was produced before the court, led by Executive Magistrate Nayiruzzaman, who punished him.
