Youth held with pistol

Police arrested a youth with a foreign made pistol, two magazines and three bullets from Benapole check post area on Saturday night. The arrestee is Kawser Ali, 26, son of Nur Islam of Lautali village in Faridganj upazila of Chandpur district. Mafizur Rahman, sub-inspector of Benapole Port Police Station, said tipped off, police raided the area and arrested Kawser with the firearm and bullets.
