Youth held with pistol

The Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested an indigenous youth with a pistol and two bullets in Charbangalia area under Haluaghat upazila of the district early yesterday. The arrestee is Subesh Chisim alias Besh, 25, son of Aurjon Toju of Bhutiapara in the upazila. On secret information, detectives raided the area and arrested Subesh Chisim with the firearm and bullets, said Imarat Hossain Gazi, officer-in-charge of DB, Mymensingh. The arrestee was later produced before a court which sent him to jail.
