Youth held with bombs

Rapid Action Battalion-4 (Rab) members arrested a youth with four crude bombs from Khalshi Bazar under Daulaptur upazila of the district yesterday afternoon.

The arrestee, Md Johir Mia Fakir, 25, son of Surja Mia of Khalshi village in the upazila, is now under Rab-4 custody.

Anu Mong,  assistant superintendent of police, said the Rab-4 team conducted a drive in the bazar area at around 4:45pm and arrested the youth with the bombs.
